to scale from A4 to A3 in Adobe InDesign

I am working on a poster and a common thing client does is changing their mind about the size of the poster - first they would say "I just want an A4" then a few days later they want A3 and usually I would scale the elements up manually by hold on Shift and drag because I couldn't be bother to work out what percentage I should type in to ask InDesign to scale up for me. But today I took the time to work it out by trial and error method. 

And the magic number is: 141.5%

NoteI like how it is warm and quiet in my apartment, then I go down to the street it is cold and busy, then I walk five minutes I am at the office where it is warm and busy. I like that.

Piet Zwart

How do I know about Piet Zwart? It started with Huffer - the logo to be specific, it reminds me of some old iconographic I saw in a design history book. Flicking through the pages and I saw it - the Huffer logo is exactly the icon that Piet Zwart created in 1924 for the NKF catalogue.

Myoung Ho Lee

Myoung Ho Lee, born in 1975, is a Korean photographer based in Seoul, Korea. Sze Tsung Leong

Sze Tsung Leong is an American-Chinese photographer, born in Mexico. Now 38 and he travels extensively photographing landscapes and cityscapes around the world. He is a qualified architect but turned to photography and had made it a career. It is apparent his photography references his architecture background. I really like the History series of cities in China.

Vann Molyvann

This is the National Theatre, also commonly known as the Bassac Theatre because it was located near the bank of the Bassac River in Phnom Penh. It was built in 1968 by Vann Molyvann, but was demolished in 2008. These pictures are taken from the Vann Molyvann Project.
